This is super inspiring, Emily. As always, thank you for your transparency.

I am currently reading Gene Wilder’s autobiography Kiss Me Like A Stranger: My Search for Love and Art. And I LOVE it! His writing is descriptive enough to keep you engaged, but the chapters and subchapters are short and sweet helping this ADHD momma actually READ for more than 10 minutes! It’s a miracle, really. Highly recommend.

I’m inspired! I need to buy matcha powder again because I used to have a daily afternoon matcha latte as well and loved that routine. What brand do you suggest buying? And the pillow! I might need that. Can you point me in the right direction? And sourdough and watercolor- I have great desire for both but don’t have the drive or energy to start but the more inspired I get, the more I’m hopeful to take the first step to try new things. And I’d like a play date soon. I’ll ask you spontaneously. 🤗

Glad this resonated! I can't remember the brand of matcha I have but David got it for me at Natural Grocers. I bet they have several to choose from. I think I'm going to order myself a watercolor book and paints from Emily Lex as a starting point--I'll let you know how I like it if I do! The pillow can be found at Target amongst other places. The brand is Comfort Revolution and it's a contour pillow (there's a cooling gel inlay too!). And we can schedule that play date! Spontaneous or planned is great for play dates and I know Sam will be thrilled.
