People don't know what to say in these instances, and while I understand, I also wish they would be more willing to sit in the grief with me rather than tell me how fantastic I am for doing a hard thing. And Bobbi, I can't imagine the things people have said to you. No one should have to go through what you guys went through. And to be called "noble" or a hero? That's not ok.
